Cadian’s Birthday Invites

Just finished the invitations for Cadian’s birthday party. A similar design printed through an online stationary company was going to be almost $70! Instead we tweeked it a little and will print it at home for about $10 worth of card stock and envelopes. Creativity really does pay off!

Whether you’re a freelance designer fresh out of college or a 10 year veteran, Designers Don’t Read by Austin Howe is a real treat. Great Color Combinations Book

By no means would I consider myself an expert in anything and I will gladly acknowledge that fact. I would like to point out however that there are many different ways to fake it! When it comes to understanding what color combinations naturally work together I have this great book that helps me “fake it” every time.
