Thanks to Google Maps technology and few smart wordpress plugins coders, there is a really cool way to display your geocoded pictures! I upgraded my cell phone to the new Touch Pro 2 last week and quickly discovered that the built-in camera was far superior to other camera phones I’ve owned. On top of the 3.2m sensor (I know, it’s not quite the same as my Canon 40d), burst mode, panoramic mode and a slew of other quick formats, the phone also has “GPS Photo”. When selected, any picture taken has the latitude and longitude stored in the EXIF data of the image. Read more to see my fancy google map with images from Saint George Island.
